Cute and curvy is the goal with excellent shapewear.
Cute and curvy is the goal with excellent shapewear.

So I'm in flux- I'm growing as a woman and as a human being. I want to improve everything I do, and part of that includes my wardrobe!

My most recent discovery on the road to embracing my femininity involved discovering none other than the importance of having good shapewear.

I admit I tried shapewear in the past and it was a nightmare. I did no research, grabbed the first thing I could find from Walmart, and hated it. I felt that it took away what little butt I actually have, while at the same time rolling and bunching in all of the wrong places.

After a few YouTube review videos, I was curious to see once again if shapewear could address my loveably soft mommy body problems. I'm considering a tummy tuck in the future, so this could also be a way to test wearing a faja, a post-surgical compression garment worn after cosmetic procedures. I could test now to see if I could tolerate it then.

I was convinced. I wanted to see if I could find comfortable shapewear to help streamline my figure. My criteria? I wanted something super supportive to the upper body, well-fitted (tight), and somewhat sexy, not dated.

I took to Amazon and I ended up coming across a company called ShaperX. Their shapewear selections have thousands of reviews and 4+ star ratings, so I felt comfortable giving their company a try.

I ordered two different kinds to test the waters:

*and*

I ordered the XL and black for both. They do have nude color options as well.

Let me tell you, I was so pleasantly surprised when I tried these bodysuits out. My favorite was the faja by far! It offered a ton of support and beautifully complimented my figure. It has clasps and a zipper and it honestly makes the lines of my body look so smooth. It offers enough compression to be supportive and not restrictive.

The tummy shaper wasn't as supportive as the faja, as it was simply a pull-on ensemble. It did make me look more put together underneath my dresses, however it didn't improve my shape like the other shaper did.

I would still recommend it for comfortable day wear to work or even to the gym if you are looking for light support and not so much compression.

All in all, I am very impressed with both bodysuits and I'm definitely willing to explore more of their products, such as their tummy control panties and an assortment of corsets and waist trainers. This company really makes shapewear trendy, cute, and functional while adhering to a pretty good price point.

You should definitely check out the ShaperX store and see what other great products they have. Take the time to read the reviews and see if the product is something that you feel will work for you!

Go check them out and see if they can keep you looking fabulous on your personal Vixen journey.
